Wilwood Front 11" Miata Big Brake Kit

Forged Dynalite ProSeries kits provide high performance, big brake stopping power by combining modern brake technology with high-tech styling to update the brakes on your compact sport vehicle. The OE calipers and rotors are replaced with forged aluminum, four-piston calipers mounted over larger diameter, certified alloy 30-vane vented iron rotors. The new two-piece rotor assemblies provide weight-saving forged aluminum mounting hats. The calipers feature an increase in effective piston volume to deliver higher clamping power with less pedal effort than stock. The thicker, vented rotor design adds cooling efficiency and durability to extend service life. BP-series SmartPads add high-response with increased resistance to fade and longer wear over typical OE replacement pads. Options for caliper colors and rotor styles are available to personalize the look on any car. For on-track driving enthusiasts, additional track-only fortifications are available on a custom order basis by contacting the technical staff at the factory.

The calipers in this kit use the 7112 pad shape.

This bargain Big Brake kit for the Miata features the race proven forged Dynalite four piston calipers. These calipers provide big clamping power in a truly lightweight and reliable design. Four stainless steel pistons provide additional corrosion resistance and the lowest heat transfer of any one-piece piston design. The Platinum-E finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and long term preservation of their high-tech style and appearance. Calipers are available in either Black or Red.



Rotor Options:

**30 Vane Plain Face Rotor** - Ultra-Light with 30 internal straight vanes, plain outer face.

**30 Vane Drilled & Slotted Rotor** - the same Ultra-Light 30 vane internal construction as plane face rotors above, but Wilwood's specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improves brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions.

**72 Vane Slotted Rotor** - 72 internal straight vanes for added cooling and more thermal capacity. Made from Wilwood's exclusive Spec-37 material, a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. If you are taking your Miata to the race track, we recommend these rotors.

BP-20 Brake Pads for the front calipers are street-focused pads with higher temperature resistance than your factory pads. Developed for improved stopping power, quiet engagement, and the lowest possible dusting available from a performance compound pad. Premium grade hardware are supplied along with detailed instructions in every kit.
