All HKS Intercoolers improve both the efficiency and power of any turbocharged application by rapidly reducing inherent heat levels of the compressed intake air charge before entering the engine. By utilizing a special tube and fin design, the intercooler acts as a large heat exchanger that dissipates the heat generated by the compression of the intake charge without creating reductions in boost pressure or response.

Features:

Intercooler Core

A huge 22.4% increase in core's area leads to immense improvement in cooling.

The OEM core does not provide sufficient cooling capacity when boosting up, with increased core capacity it will be compatible with everything from boosting up to turbo upgrade.

The core is designed to be also installed with OEM piping.

Piping Kit

Upon enlarging the pipe diameter and smoothing out the inner design in comparison to OEM we are able to increase power output.

The OEM hose is prone to expand under high boost, but aluminum pipe has completely solved the issue of pressure loss due to hose expansion.

The aluminum pipe is given a mirro buff finish, and the cast pipe and core feature the HKS logo, which gives a fantastic dress-up look.

Fitment:

Honda Civic Type-R FL5 2023-2025

Vehicle Make/Model

Year

Trims

Honda Civic

2023-2026

Type R

Since its beginning, HKS has been committed to providing well-integrated, reliable, and environmentally sound performance systems.
